Maldives Coaching Trip 2025

6 GSA coaches from 5 different nations spend ten days in the beautiful Maldives conducting coaching clinics (football, Handball and basketball) and spend some leisure time snorkelling, scuba diving and exploring all the Maldives offers.

Manu (a professional handball coach from Romania) spend five days on Ukulhas and Guraidhoo Island, upskilling woman's Handball in the Maldives.

Mark Adel from Egypt and the GSA sports manager from India conducted the 1st ever 5-day football coaching clinic for u/8 and u/16 boys on the island of Guraidhoo in the Maldives. Coach Muhammad Tasya from the USA conducted a basketball camp in the capital city of Male, Maldives.

The coaching sessions started very early at 6 am due to the Maldives' hot and humid weather conditions. During the day, there where lots of leisure time for coaches to enjoy all that the Maldives has to offer, from scuba diving, snorkelling, night fishing trips, or just sunbathing and relaxing on the beach. Our coaches enjoyed the warm hospitality of the Maldivian culture, the deliciously spicy food and all that the Maldives has to offer.

Our next step is to conduct a 4-day coaching course for football, basketball and handball coaches during June (14-24 June) 2025 and coaching clinics for players across various islands.
